It is a good thing to get your blood pressure checked and remove any worries of serious risk. And like wickedwolf said, get an eye test too. Sometimes, long exposure to bright sourced appliances like computer screens, mobile phones, etc can play a role in such aches. Message your forehead and areas behind the ears softly with a calming flower oil, just before you go to sleep. Helps relieve the stress in the tightened nerves. And if you are sure about the sinus issue, then a hot water steam therapy will be a great option. Take care
Hello,
It would appear to me that you have some pinched nerves in that region of your neck, I would certainly seek the help of a chiropractor for a good neck adjustment. He/she will be able to tell right away via an x-ray, if this is the case. Headaches are a speciality of Chiropractors.
Thank you. The OTC medications haven't seemed to make a big impact. And the headache has moved to pretty much the whole right side of my head.
If it isn't relieved with OTC meds for sinus/allergies I would tend to think you may have cluster headaches too! I would keep a log of the frequency, location of the pain and whatever else you notice. I know sometimes it takes me a couple days to figure out what kind of headache I have. I am very prone to migraines, food allergy headaches and have lots of sinus/allergy headaches. I hope you find some relief soon!
If your doctor diagnosed you with sinus then it could be sinusitis. Its not that difficult to diagnose sinusitis. You may have a frontal sinusitis. Other differential Dx I would think would be cluster headaches. They are usually on and off, defined to a side and is more concentrated on to the eye. cluster headaches usually have a pattern and prevail for a few months. Another reason could be the power of your eyes may have increased.
