I get a weird feeling in the right side of my face if I touch the right artery in my neck.

Hi I am 14 years old and if I so much as TOUCH the right artery in my neck the right side of my face feels weird. It feels like a pressure sensation. It mainly affects my nose and jaw, but it affects other parts of my face too. I also got a headache this morning from doing it, but that could just be a coincidence, because I have been getting headaches lately without touching the artery. Any idea what the problem is?

i'm not sure about the artery thing but the headaches in the right side of your face without touching it might be solvable. i used to get massive migraines in the right side of my face too, they only lasted a few seconds but it was enough pain to make me close my eyes and i couldn't move at all for those few seconds. i went to a doctor and he just gave me Naproxen, i thought it would work but it's just a stupid painkiller. after that didn't work, i went to the optometrist because my mom thought my eyes were bad and the headaches were caused by my eyes straining to see things. we decided to go and found out that i do need glasses, i already knew that because i couldn't see things at a certain distance away from me, but we knew now that that was the reason for my headaches. i don't get them anymore. try going to get your eyes checked, even know i have a very weak prescription it made a huge difference.

Go to ER now.

Just telling me to go to the ER isn't very helpful. Besides this is no medical emergency, i've had the problem for months.
