I was diagnosed with BPPV, but I’m unsure, it went away but is now back

Im a 17 year old male with (what doctors and I are pretty sure of) IBS, I’m also diagnosed with depression and anxiety. Around 2 months ago I started having a bit of a fever and started having a weird feeling like I wasn’t fully conscious, it was a pretty mild feeling and I knew I was awake. I also started feeling pretty depressed and really unmotivated to do anything, even go to the toilet and have a shower. My stomach was quite sore but I don’t know if that was because of my IBS or whatever this was, I also had a very low appetite. I felt like I had no energy but I was able to get up and do things. I also had a feeling like the feeling would never end and I’d feel like this forever. I went to a GP a few days later and the doctor said I had Benign Positional Paroxysmal Vertigo, I thought it made sense other than the dizziness which I didn’t really feel. Basically the day I went to the doctors I started to feel better, unrelated to what happened at the doctors. I still did the exercises that the doctor told me to do but I couldn’t really tell if they helped since I was already basically back to normal. After that I was good with no more issues of that kind, until yesterday (5th Jan 2023), I had that fever again but it only lasted about an hour, my stomach has been sore again but I still don’t know if it’s related, I’ve had a low appetite again (which isn’t always common when I have a sore stomach from IBS). I’ve had that same very low energy, depressed and not fully conscious feeling since yesterday as well. It’s basically the same feeling. I also feel really down about it again, like this feeling will never get better. I don’t know if it is BPPV, I sort of doubt it and I’m not sure it it can even come back this fast. I’m often quite anxious about medical issues I have and I don’t really know what I’m experiencing with all of these symptoms.

I've got a teenager at home and he's pooped out and droopy a lot of the time, some of what you're describing could be him. He's a vegetarian, so I worry he's not getting enough protein in his diet (we work on this, but soy isn't a one-on-one substitute for meat, so we have to be pretty assiduous). Possibly you could get some blood work done at your doctor's, they should check for anemia or maybe run some thyroid checks. If you do have benign positional vertigo again, well, it's benign, and you know the exercises to make it go away. In your position, I would get serious about exercise. It's good for you in so many ways, your heart and your brain and also it tests better than anti-anxiety meds for addressing anxiety.
