Internal Night Tremors

As I'm trying to fall asleep, I get these "tremors" inside my body- all over. It started a month and a half after I had my baby. It has happened every night for over a month. Sometimes, I can physically feel my muscles tremor, but usually it cannot be seen. It's like my blood is rushing through my body at a higher rate of speed (but my pulse and bp seem to be steady-- sometimes my heart races with it but not usually). I feel like my eyes are shaking some times. It almost seems it's seizure-like...like an internal earthquake, however, when I focus on it, it usually goes away and I don't lose control of anything, like you would in a seizure.  About two years ago, I was diagnosed with BFS (benign fasiculation syndrome) but I have never experienced these sensations before. I mentioned it to my family doctor and she thinks it could be stress related. It's causing me a lot of grief and sleepless nights. Advice?! (I've had a recent EKG, MRI of brain, EMG, and Echo--- but it was several months before this symptom)

This discussion is related to internal tremor and palpitations.

I have the same things but I never have a baby. I take this non-drug pill things it reduces stress and helps you fall asleep. I think they are at Walmart in the vitamins. I hope this helps

Was just reading about Crohn's disease and it mentions tremors as one of the symptoms.  You might want to look it up.

What you describe is very similar to what I experience. I have had a MRI, EEG ,EKG,blood tests. Everything comes back normal, except 3years ago I was having some skipped heartbeats that I was told wasn't anything to worry about. They seem to have gone away, but then the tremors started about two years ago. I feel them all day,  as if I was  up against a piece of machinery that is running and vibrating, but it isnt a visible tremor. They do seem to get worse at night as I am falling asleep. They wake me up sometimes.  I  am under  a lot of stress but don't think of myself as an anxious person that would have anxiety. I was reading about nocturnal seizures, wondering if it could be that. I've wondered if it could be hormone related.
