Intolerance for cold

I went to sleep feeling a little nauseated and woke up an hour later feeling like I had just been dipped in ice cold water.  I am 17 weeks pregnant so the nausea seemed to be explained but this is painful.  The cold is so painful I can't get out from under my covers. I don't have a fever and I feel warm one minute and then shivering and painfully cold the next. It's intolerable.   I have felt this before and I had a uterine infection.  Any idea of what this could be?

Do you have a fever? Otherwise have you ever had your thyroid checked? Hypothyroidism can cause intolerance to the cold.
