Is it okay to be in two forums?

I am also in another forum, I found a lump in my breast, but I have many more symptoms of fatigue, swelling in hands , wrists, ankles , constipation so bad I have to manually remove it, I just feel it there in the 2nd spincter and have to use gloves and lubricant to remove it , its gotton so bad It has brown mucus that comes out with it. I have put on 40 pounds and I can barely eat, I'm so tired. If I do go somewhere for even 4 hrs, it takes me 2 days to recover. My ANA was high so myPCP thinks it might be lupus so I went to rheumotologist last week and I only have 4 of the criteria but my lab work that my PCP ran was so high and low in different tests she (rhrumotologist) is perplexed. So she ordered about 4000 K of labwork on me. I was so sick yesterday and hands swollen ,I canceled my app. with my gyno and am going Mon to find out about my mammo , thought they would give me results over phone but he wants to see me.  I also had knee surgery 2 months ago for 2 unexplained torn meniscus and arthritis he shaved off my knee.  But it just keeps on swelling along with my hands , I wake with my eyes and lips are also swollen.  I have to admit I'm scared, I also have a nerve root tumor in which I see neurosurgeon Apr 2nd, they wanted my knee to be strong enough to endure rehab after surgery. Anybody else expierenced any or all of the symptoms.  I could say more but my hands and wrist are really hurting. I appreciate you listening to me. jco63 (Jan)

I'm in dozens of forums. You can ask questions in different forums as someone may have the answer on another forum.

In most cases, a positive ANA test indicates that your immune system has launched a attack on your own tissues. Eek! But a positive ANA is not diagnostic of any condition as such. A more through work up is needed and of course symptoms help with what other labs to look for. Also, check vitamin D deficiency levels as well as most autoimmune diseases will show up with concurrent vitamin D deficiency.

My symptoms of weight gain, swelling, fatigue, constipation and poor appetite (also felt full very quickly after eating due to gastroparesis) are some of my symptoms of Hashimoto's thyroiditis (the most common cause of hypothyroidism).

Sensitivity of ANA in non rheumatic disease:

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE): 95–100%
Scleroderma: 60–80%
Mixed connective tissue disease: 100%
Polymyositis/dermatomyositis: 61%
Rheumatoid arthritis: 52%
Rheumatoid vasculitis: 30–50%
Sjögren's syndrome: 40–70%
Drug-induced lupus: 100%
Discoid lupus: 15%
Pauciarticular juvenile chronic arthritis: 71%
Hashimoto's thyroiditis: 46%
Graves' disease: 50%
Autoimmune hepatitis: 100%
Primary autoimmune cholangitis: 100%
Primary pulmonary hypertension: 40%
