Itching all over the body, doctors do not know.

Hello all, my wife has been experiencing itching all over her body, mostly in folds such as arm pits, inner arm, behind knee, under the breast. It started right after having laster in her pubic area. She started itching there, it got a bit of a rash and then it went away, but the itching remained and soon she was itching everywhere else. Everything vaginal or pubic has been checked with the doctor and ruled out. She then went to an allergy doctor and a dermatologist. Here are the tests that have been performed:
- cbc with differentials
- sedmentation rate
- allergen ige
- chaetom globosum
- and food allergy profile

The only discovery is that she is allergic to dust mites and a certain pine which we do not even have in here.

These are the medications she has taken:
- zyrtec
- triamocolone
- prednisone - worked when she was on it after she got off itching started again.
- triamocolone cream
- epicoid cream

We do not know what else to do at this point. My thinking is that it could also be something not related to the skin but an organ, liver, or perhaps even the water we have although dade county water is one of the best.

What can anyone suggest, what additional tests can she take?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello~

I know this is going to sound absolutely crazy, but, I would suggest seeing a chiropractor, especially since you have had all the tests, etc. You see, if you have misaligned vertebrae, etc, they can press on nerves that can cause itching, etc. It sure would not hurt to try, it may help.
