Lower right abdominal pain?

Hi

For about ten hours now, I've have a dull ache that comes and goes in my lower right abdomen. It's not currently severe, just a dull ache for about five seconds every two or so minutes, not continuous.

Anybody else experience this? I read that it could be a symptom of IBS/IBD, which would make sense as I'm currently being tested for those conditions.

I'm just terrified that it's early appendicitis as I've never experienced it before. Any help or insight would be much appreciated and help me to stop panicking.

Thanks.

There are various causes of right lower quadrant abdominal pain, including but not limited to appendicitis, IBS/IBD, kidney/ureteral stone, bladder infection, and hernia, as well as female-specific conditions, such as pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis, ovarian cyst, ovarian torsion, and ectopic pregnancy. Making the correct diagnosis requires a combination of clinical history and physical examination, as well as laboratory and imaging tests. If your symptoms have not resolved by now, you should seek prompt medical attention, as some of these conditions can be potentially serious.
