Lump Behind Ear

Hiya, I've had a lump behind my left ear for a about 3-4 weeks now.. It's small & hard & it isn't sore or tender at all.. I had a cold about 3 weeks ago so I presumed it was something to do with that, & my Dr. said it was when I went to see him, however, my cold has been & gone & all that's left is a sore throat.. But it isn't sore all the time, just at night when I'm sleeping? I have been a lot more thirsty recently (I used to be able to go all day at work without having a drink, now I drink about 2-3 cans/glasses).. Also, I walk to & from work - 30min each way - & now whenever I get inside a building after walking I sweat like mad, which I never used to.. I also seem to get hot a lot more recently which is strange for me as I used to be cold more than anything! If anyone could link these things & tell me what's wrong with me it would be greatly appreciated! :-) Also, not sure if it will make any difference, but the lump hasn't changed in shape or size at all from what I can tell!

hiyaa, i have lump behind my ear too, depending on how your doctor looked at it or if its even the same thing it may be a cyst.. i take medication but it take 3-4 months for it to eventually go away. i got even more thirsty aswell and would get major head rushes. if this helps at all? the medication i take are antibiotics and are tablets.

Go to a different doctor for another opinion and ask for a biopsy of the bump. Something could be wrong that even the doctors do not understand. I had a regular doctor treat a cold in the normal way he would treat it and been told by others that antibiotics were given to them by their doctors. I had pain behind my eyes and a sore throat after the cold went away. I went to my allergist for the next doctor and she did a swab, came back and put me on a dose of antibiotics followed by a period without, followed by a second round of the original antibiotic. Doctors do not always catch everything and you have to make decisions based on what you are going through.
