Major Issues

I have had two surgeries in the last year on my achilles which turned out to be a nightmare.  I have chronic pain when I walk stabbing pains in my foot and ankle.  I can't wear shoes and my ankle swells constantly.  I cant do rehab because everytime they touch it it gets worse. Help please I dont know what to do.

It can take a long time to heal after one surgery, two of them complicates it even more. I am wondering why two operations and what the doctor has to say about how you are doing now. It sounds like nerve and tissue damage that hasn't healed properly. I am not a doctor or anything close to it but I have seen 2 people who had to have operations on their achilles and both healed up okay but it took a long time and a third person who was very old and could not have  surgery at all.

If it was me and the area of the surgery was healed I would use Arnica cream or a lotion that contains Glucosamine (from shell fish), MSM and Arnica. These ingredients can both help to heal and lessen the pain.  A company that makes this lotion is NOW and is available in the US. Are you on any pain meds or any kind of meds right now? If you are you will need to know that these ingredients can either lessen or increase their effects.

Your stress levels must be pretty high which is not good for your overall health. Perhaps, if you are not already, you could take a good multivitamin with high levels of vit.B complex in it.

Last but least, if  your doctor has given up or you on him you could consider going to a naturopath, but see one who has dealt with your type of problem before or has a good knowledge about sports injuries involving the achilles.
