I feel like something is on my nose, but nothing is?

Hi,
So for the past week, I have had the sensation that something is resting on my nose but nothing! It's EXTREMELY annoying. I'm pretty sure it might have something to do with a new cream I tried. But I checked the ingredients and I don't think I'm allergic to any of them. Help please!

Could be a pimple deep inside the nose.  Leave it alone.  Those things eventually come to a head and will burst open on their own.  I get them on occasion.  They do burst open for me anyway, because I have to have a box of tissues in every room due to allergies.  Those things are annoying and can even be quite tender.  They sometimes cause some swelling when they are first developing, but they do eventually go away on their own in pretty much the same manner as any visible pimple or blackhead you would get on your face.  I wouldn't be overly concerned about it.  The less you think about it and try to focus your mind on some project or hobby or anything else you enjoy, the less noticeable it will be and in time it will disappear, perhaps when you are blowing your nose.  That will likely be the last time you notice it.

If you did have a mild allergic reaction to something in the cream, though, try an oral antihistamine and be careful not to drive or operate heavy machinery since that stuff is sedating.  Then, don't use the cream again.  Usually, my tactics I mentioned for distracting oneself from this kind of annoying flare up really do work.  Find something that needs your full attention that you really like to do.  It really does help.
