My temperature in ear and oral temp are VERY different

My temperature  taken in my ears is 39.2c+ but my oral temp is only 37.1.  I feel HOT to the touch...what's going on?

An ear temp can be .3 higher. Your temp varies through the day so if you are testing oral and ear at the same time then maybe one thermometer is reading incorrectly.

I have tried them on my husband and children and both thermometers give them similar readings and I test both at the same time.
If you get this 2 degree variance in 3 people then one thermometer is out a bit. You can check against another thermometer sometime.
Sorry I meant that their temps are the same on both thermometers. Mine is the only one out by 2+ degrees
Ok, you proved you have a temperature variance, so maybe ask doc if it is an issue.
