Neuropathy, Thyrodisim, Pinched Nerve, Damaged Nerve?

Hi everyone its my first post here.  So I'm a 31 year old male suffering from some strange symptoms, which started 2 months ago, after 5 straight days of physical activity (2 P90x workouts, and 9 hours of volleyball in that time frame).  The day after my right hand had a tingling/pulsating feeling from the palm out to the fingers.  Extended use of the hand made it worse.  I started waking up at night with heart palpitations, random internal buzzing sensations, and random muscle twitches.  I was under a lot of stress at the time so myself and MD thought it was anxiety related and may have been although it felt pretty traumatic.  Several days after the right hand tingling, i started having a pulsating/slightly electric feeling in my right foot also.  I rested for 2 weeks, heart palpitation gradually stopped and hand and foot started feeling nearly 100% better so I went to play volleyball.  Mid-playing I could already feel both the hand and foot symptoms coming back so i quit early.  The next day my right foot and hand were worse than ever. My right foot felt like it was being shocked along the inner right side, all along the bottom, across to the other side and middle toes.  Additionally, when i sat down i would slow feel some numbness in the right leg and sometime aching along sciatic nerve.

I basically became a couch potato for 3 weeks hoping to heal, doing only daily routine activities and work.  I had a negative EMG test and  My symptoms slowly got better although the final 10% seemed to plateau.  I finally had no symptoms right before Christmas and for a couple days after.  However, we had a wedding shower and I was loading/unloading tons of gifts, doing a lot of sitting in bar stools, and a two 4 hour drives.  So my symptoms started to come back mainly in my foot and leg.  Since then I started on a very low impact stretching and walking routine to keep the blood flowing.  I had a neck MRI, which revealed no issues, seen two Neurologist that say I dont show any signs or symptoms of neurological disease and that I should just wait and should eventually heal.  They gave me no limitation about what activities i can do in the meantime.  I was worried that this could be a trapped/irritated nerve that needed to be diagnosed but they did not seem to feel it needed to be.  This is changing and slightly ruining my life as i know it since i am a highly active individual.  I was prescribed Gabapentin, which seems to help with the nerve pain in the meantime.

I went back to the EMG doctor who specializes in Physiatry, Spine, and Sports Medicine and he ordered a MRI of the lower back, assuming the hand and foot symptoms are separate since the hand is better but foot is not.  I have that test today.

So to summarize:
Current Symptoms
- Tingling, Electrical feeling in right foot (frequency varies, usually worse as day goes on)
- Some numbness in right leg and ache along Sciatic Nerve (frequency varies)
- Muscle twitching (infrequent)
- Light vibrations in random places (infrequent)

Past Symtoms
- Tingling/pulsating right hand
- Heart Palpitations
- Heavy muscle twitching

Tests Performed
EMG (negative)
Neck MRI  (negative)
Various Xrays (negative)
Very basic blood test (negative)
2 Neurological exam (negative)

Thoughts
I really hope the neurologist are correct and this will eventual heal on its own.  However, id rather be aggressive and try to get a real diagnosis than wait around for several month and find I haven't made any progress.  Some things I thought that maybe causing this are Sciatica, Hypothyrioism or Hashimoto's, TIA, Pinced nerve in back or thigh, hidden diabetes (doubtful) .  Nothing seems to fit exactly and the doctors seem to scratch their heads too. I'll see tomorrow how the back MRI goes.

So could anyone with Neuropathy or Hypothyrioism comment whether the tingling/electircal feeling gets worse with activity and remains worse for many days after?

Has anyone had Sciatica without back or butt pain?

Any other feedback is highly appreciated.  I wish everyone a great day, thanks for listening.

I've been diagnosed with B6 Toxcicity.  I was only drinking Emergen-C  vitamin drink 1-2 times a day for a month or 2.  It only has 10mg of B6 in it.  I'm pretty sure this diagnosis is correct since ive seen some improvement since stopping.  Praying for a full recovery!!!  Everyone be careful with vitamins!

Well good new and bad news.  The MRI of my Lumbar Spine was very healthy (good), but still without any diagnosis (boo).  Doctor is now leaning toward tarsal tunnel syndrome.  He seemed fully believe an extensive blood test was not needed now so I may need to contact my family dr to get that done.

Thanks cheshchesh819, like I said I managed to breakthrough the majority of my stress, fear, anxiety several weeks ago.  There is no doubt I have a lot going on, my mother has parkinsons very bad and I started thinking i may have it too when these symptoms started.  Luckily none of neurologist think that is the case.  I'm also getting married in June to an amazing women, i started putting stress on myself about what Id be saddling her with if i was a cripple. I also started a new job recently, and manage a 350 person sports pickup league.  I started to fall into a pretty scary hole.  My fiance has been amazing, i dont think i could have pulled myself out of this hole without her.  Im in pretty good spirits, still a little concerned obviously but not letting it get to me.  I can still function normally, just cannot play the sports i love.  Im not showing any signs of weakness or fatigue only get a little cranky from the tingling on occasion.  I'm very optimistic this will heal in time, or we'll discover what is wrong and figure out a remedy.  Thanks for listening.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
I would suggest you get the blood levels of the following checked if they have not already been checked: potassium, calcium, sodium, magnesium, vitamin B complex, or vitamins B1, B3, or B6 and Vitamin D. Generally deficiencies of any of the above can cause muscle twitching and spasms in localized or generalized areas of the body. Get your kidney function, parathyroid gland function and adrenal function tests done because these affect the electrolyte balance in the body. Stress, alcohol, caffeine and fatigue all cause similar symptoms. Hence if you take alcohol or coffee then cut this down. Sleep at regular hours and see if it helps. Certain sleep disorders and peripheral nerve disorders due to diabetes or hypothyroidism can also be the cause.
It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Do consult your doctor. Take care!

I hear you, the stress and anxiety at first where nearly unbearable.  I luckily was able to break through that several weeks ago and have been really optimistic and for the most part relaxed.  Sometimes i wonder if the stress i was generating was causing everything...

it do sound like you have put alot of pressure on your muscles,i suffered most of these symptoms and mine was nerve damage, but i also suffered bad anxiety to,my doctors told me that because i was stressing myself out about my horrible numbness and pins and needles that i was actually doing more damage to the muscle and the nerves because i was constantly tensing them up,which would stop the healing process even when i did try to relax, its all mind over matter really,i use to get the floaters in my eyes as well which they said was def related to nerve damage due to heavy lifting, like yourself it do ease but some days the feelings are horrible but they have reasurred me that it is nothing serious like a stroke or anything like that so i just try to blod along now
