Not a UTI, so what is it?!?

Hello, my name is Sam and I'm a 15 year old female. For the past week and a half, I've been having symptoms similar to those of a urunary tract infection (UTI). I constantly feel the urge to pee, even seconds after I've just relieved myself. It doesn't burn or sting when I urinate, and there's no blood or anything. I did go and get my urine tested, but apparently my results were negative; I did not have a UTI. So after that, I went back to my Doctor and explained the whole situation. He said that it could be from Constipation, because a full bowel can put pressure on the bladder. He took an X-Ray, and I'm waiting for a response about that. In the mean time, he prescribed Metamucil fiber pills, and a few caps of Miralax. They've been working, and I've been pooing, but i still constantly feel like i have to pee! It's driving me nuts! I don't know what to do:( any help is greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!

I was thinking that too, however with her being so young I would think that such a thing would be rather rare!?  Good insight.

Well there are some natural remedies you could try.  My favorite is garlic.  Just simply add a little more garlic to your diet for a week and see if that improves things (flushes out possible unwanted bacteria).

In the absence of any infection,
yo might  have Overactive Bladder Syndrome, which fits the symptoms you described.
This has to do with bladder nerves, gone a little "wild", misfiring and giving the wrong signal to the brain that the bladder needs emptying, thus the feeling of urgency to urinate.
Do a search for Kegel exercises,
which help with this condition.

In my case the "false" urgency was caused by benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) which now I control totally by taking a simple herbal supplement.
