I am totally confused. Do you have two different usernames on this site? I responded to Leodaly123 not to Leo321. If you do have two different names you are not allowed.
Could it be Angina? or a Heart Problem? I really need help!
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Though you are not convinced, hiatal hernia and GERD can cause dizziness, pain and tingling between shoulder blades, feeling of heart pounding, and sharp pain in left side of chest. Dizziness (lightheadedness) could be due to acid reflux. The reverse flow of contents of the stomach cause a series of neurochemical transmissions, which cause dizziness. It is also related to changing pressure in the cochlear canals of the ear during this process. Normal GERD will not cause dizziness if under control. However a person with severe uncontrolled acidity or when such a person is hungry or his stomach is empty except for the acid, he may feel dizzy. Also presence of an ulcer in the stomach or weak esophageal sphincter can complicate matter. I would recommend you to see a gastroenterologist (a specialist who looks after the diseases of our digestive system).
Heart pounding and palpitations could be due to the asthma medications you are taking.
It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
Is the low iron/anemia being addressed?
