Pain on both sides of my ribs

So started a month ago where I would have pain on both sides of my ribs on the lower half of my rib under my diaphragm. The pain would be a consistent dully pain with contracting (of what feels like my muscles there). The pressure from the contracting would come and go through the "episode". The first few times up until the last time I happened I would get nauseous during it and I would throw up, the pain would away only if I was in a cold environment. Last time I happened I wasn't nauseous and I went to a cold environment and it didn't help it go away. Eventually I have to wait it out for it to go away. Can someone please tell me what they think this sounds like

How deep in does the pain originate? Do you feel like the pain is more posteriorly? Maybe like a contracting sharp pain from you back? If you feel this on both sides and towards your back it could very well be your kidneys. I would suggest going to your PCP and getting a urine test. I had personally puked from intense kidney pain myself because I had a kidney stone.

Hi Xinyang,
Have you lifted anything heavy recently? Just asking as my cousin damaged a muscle after lifting some machinery on his own and had similar symptoms. However, as everyone is different I would go to your Dr to rule out anything else.
