Pain under ribs on sides

Where my ribs end on my sides I noticed over time they were getting more sensitive. Now I have also noticed that it feels like I am pressing on a hard surface but kind of tilted because it is my side. The pain is only unbearable if I touch it but occasionally it will hurt in the car on turns or speed bumps. It started with just my right side of my back, that would be behind my heart if it was on the other side, feeling like it needed to be cracked but nothing worked and now it just is achy and I can't turn very far to my right. Over time it built to my actual sides hurting. If you guys have any ideas let me know. I have a doctors appointment in about two weeks but the not having an idea is killing me know. Thanks:)

After I went  into the doctor they said because of where the pain was it was probably something to do with my kidneys. So they said I should go get a CT scan, which I did. I'm waiting for the results still though. Tomorrow I'm going to get my blood drawn too because they suggested that. They seemed to think I probably have kidney stones.
I understand friend, my problem is more nervousness related, since they did CT scan and found nothing.
