Pain went from ribs, to abdomen, to chest to head and neck, tests normal?

12 year old female, no real medical history until 9 months ago. Pain started in left rib about 9 months ago, came and went at night.  Then came back over the summer. X rays showed nothing abnormal.  Then about a month ago pain in lower right abdomen, that then spread across the abdomen. Blood tests, MRI, x-rays, ultrasound all normal.  Pain then started in the chest, EKG and subsequent blood tests/ultrasound/X-rays still normal.  Rib pain and abdominal pain comes and goes, chest pain is gone. Then about 2 weeks ago persistent headache and neck ache started, rib pain and abdominal pain still there, Lyme and lupus tests came back negative. OTC painkillers don’t help. Prevacid didn’t help.  Waiting for some results from gastroenterologist.   Any ideas of what this could be?

Look into costochondritis. It's when the cartilage in your ribs swells up. It can cause a lot of pain in various parts of the chest and upper abdomen. It can also affect several nerves that can cause seemingly non-related symptoms.

There's not much you can do except take anti inflammatory medications and rest, but it could be what you're experiencing.
