I agree with "Backhurtz" nothing good has ever come from self-diagnosing off the internet, I know, I use to do it lots and still want to but know it isn't a wise idea. If you are worried, I would see your dentist, they can usually help with issues involving the mouth.

Ashley,
STOP diagnosing yourself based off the internet.
You are only going to find things to make your hyper focus on minor aches and pains even bigger.
Either see a doctor or see a therapist.
ALL of us can take random off feelings, minor aches or pains, blow them up in our minds, and find some drastic illness or disease if we go searching across forums or the internet.
You are doing nothing to help yourself, only feeding your hyperfocus on vague,  non specific NORMAL happenings in your body.

It could possibly be a food allergy or simply an abrasion from chewing anything roughly.

I was looking for reasons as to why someone would have bumps on the back of the tongue, and I found out about circumvallate papillae. I looked at some pictures of circumvallate papillae, and I kind of think that is what it is.
