Pale face, ocassional dizziness...

I have been having irregular periods and have been put on the pill. I forgot a couple days and my period began again, I went back on the pill and caught up on the days missed but now I haven't been feeling the greatest. I have my period of a medium to heavy flow, I have clotting, I get dizzy and have muscle spasms along with the regular bloating and abdominal pain. All of my friends and coworkers have been telling me my face looks pale. I feel really weak and almost twitchy. I couldn't keep up with my friends when we went out for a walk and I had to sit down a lot. My mouth also gets really dry quickly, I don't believe I'm dehydrated, I have been drinking lots of water. I don't know if it's relevent but I do have an ocassional cough along with it. Please help me figure out what's wrong.

could be anemic. docs should have firm diagnosis of irregular periods before they just start throwing birth control pills at you. insist on pelvic ultrasound to look for cysts or masses. have they run any blood work to check thyroid, liver function, blood sugar, blood count, etc? should have.

You probably need to see your OBGYN.  She/he can test you for anemia which can cause the pale face and dizziness.  You can also be checked for fibroids which can cause the amount of blood you lose every month.  Also, your body could be having a problem with the type of birth control you are on.  I would recommend making an appointment with yoru doctor and discussing these things with him/her.  They can give you a better idea of what is going on and hopefully get you feeling better in no time.
