Please help me...queasy stomach; lower abdominal pressure

I am a  21yr old female. I take a 28day birth control pill (generic version of Alesse) and Synthroid. Since Feb 19th 2010, I have had a permanently queasy stomach. For the most part it is just a  minor sensation of queasiness, however I do notice it at all times. Sometimes like when I'm hungry or full, I feel the need to vomit but I have not vomited. Also I have a weird pressure that is located across the front of my lower abdomen. It is between my hips, below my belly button, and above the “mon pubis.” It is a heavy pressure that does not go away. It is not painful, just very pressuring, sort of like the pressure of bloating before a  period. On the morning of Feb 21st, I wiped myself after my morning pee and found three little gooey balls of blood, they reminded me of period blood. Since then, I have been feeling the need to urinate more often than usual. Another thing that has been happening since Feb 21st ...don't know if it's related or not...is TERRIBLE headaches! They start at around 3:30pm and last until I finally fall asleep! I have always been a headache person but these are the WORST. I slept ON an ice pack to dull the pain. Please help me figure out what is going on in my body! I'm very frustrated about feeling so uncomfortable. (P.S. The symptoms started 1.5 weeks after my last period...aka also 1.5 weeks before my next)

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The bleeding in between the periods can be due to the birth control pills. At times the generic versions cause more symptoms than the original compounds. Also BCPs can make your stomach feel queasy and cause water retention and a feeling of bloating. Please stop the pills and take an antacid and see. BCPs also cause headaches. Meanwhile use another method of contraception. If this does not help, then consult a doctor.
Hope this helps. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

How about getting off the BCPs?  They can cause blood clot problems, nausea, dizziness, weight gain, and worsened migraine headaches.  Don't accept the nausea as permanent- do something to help yourself!  Also, I'd get a urine culture since you are urinating frequently and if you aren't sure where that blood came from.  And rarely, a person can get pregnant even while taking birth control pills, and you should get that checked out too and please stop the pills right away so you hopefully won't lose the baby if you turn out to be pregnant.
