Post nasal drip

I have a case of continual post nasal drip. I have tried all types of inhalators, medication - had a sinus MRI, allergy tests with negative results.

Could my CPAP machine be causing or aggravating this situation.

My machine is a Respironic with card reader and humidifier.

Thx

Ken

A very simple diet, fruits, veggies lean meat and some raw nuts dropped myt PND tremendously.  The CPAP helped even more (hepa filter I am guessing)

add to that vitamin C and odorless garlic, an ibuprofen and last but not least 7 glasses of water a day and PND was gone.

Plan to "be good" and retake sleep test... I suspect that without PND CPAP may not be required.

Hi,

How are you?
Post nasal drip is seen commonly in sinusitis, nasal polyps and allergies. Since all these causes have been excluded CPAP seems to be the most likely cause. CPAP is known to cause post nasal drip and dry cough in its users.
I would suggest you to please consult an ENT specialist as soon as possible.
Take care!
