What is wrong with my hand?

Just a day or two ago the palm of my hand started to feel irritated when I touched something a specific way. I looked at it to see if there was something wrong but there was absolutely nothing to give away any problems. I started to feel around my palm with my index finger and I felt what I at first would have described as tiny hairs, but I'm now describing them as feeling as cactus needles because that's more accurate. My palm was in discomfort everytime I touched these invisible needles. I told my mom about it and she took a flashlight to see if she could find out what was wrong, but she didn't see a thing, and when she felt it she said it felt like dry skin and gave me some lotion. I applied the lotion to my palm and within a few seconds of applying it red dots started to appear and I was in more discomfort. I wiped the lotion off and went to sleep for the night. The next day went by and I was cautious with how I held things. After I got out of school I decided to put antibiotics just in case on my palm and I wrapped it to avoing rubbing it on the things I picked up.An hour after that my hand felt like it did before I had put the wrap on and I figured the cloth underneath had slipped off my hand in the wrap so I went to fix it, only to realize that the cloth hadn't moved, but that the "needles" had spread to the top of my palm whereas before it had only been right below the middle of my hand. Does anyone know what this might possibly be?

Hello~You may have a ganglion cyst in the palm area of your hand, also, you may have some pinched nerves in your neck and upper spine, this can cause the issues you are having.

I would see a chiropractor, he/she will take some x-rays, study them and then discuss the findings. After a few treatments you should start to feel better. Also, they can tell you if it is possibly a ganglion cyst.
