Sudden feeling of falling or dropping, HELP!!!

I have been having this horrible sensation come over me for the past month. It only last a few seconds but feels like I'm dropping  like when you are on an elevator. My legs feel kinda heavey when this happens. It is very intense and scary! I've had Ebstein barr virus for almost 9 months now but I don't think that this is related but I coud be wrong. This is ruining my life! I have to hold on to my husband when shopping because I feel like I'm going to fall from time to time. I have had an MRI of brain and several blood test come back normal. I have even had my heart checked out and seems to be normal. I'm not anemic and don't have diabeties or hypoglycemia. I have also had a tilt test come back fine. If you have any idea what this could be please let me know.. Thanks for reading! This is happening to me several times a day and is disableing me.

Hello cyclical333.  Welcome to the forum. We appreciate this response. How did you determine it was the deficiency in B12 that was causing this?  Did supplementation help correct it?  It is true that B12 deficiency can calls all sorts of things. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/vitamin-b12-deficiency-symptoms#TOC_TITLE_HDR_10  Thank you for responding to our members to help them. We hope you stop back often.

Not sure I know anything to help ; but when you say you would need to hold on to your husband while shopping , do you mean that you were walking along fine ; then without warning , in a store you need to hold on ? It sounded familiar because during my long quest to resolve my problem , that happened to me many times . I am now told this is an infectious disease , but waiting to see specialist .In the event that your new symptoms are related to E.B , I would notify your specialist about it . Good luck .
