Ready for an answer

Hello,
I have been sick for over 12 weeks now.  The first 3-4 weeks felt like a cold or possible allergies.  I went to an allergist and had testing done- tested positive for many allergies and was put on meds.  Meds did nothing.  I began feeling worse- exhausted, confusion, tremors, horrible cough- coughing up yellowish gunk.  Went to my intern and was told it was probably repeated viral infections and he took blood.  Blood tests came back normal (neg for mono).  Went to a care now on Memorial day and was diagnosed with bronchitis.  Was given Cefdinir which did nothing to help.  Went back to internist and he put me on Levoquin and asked if it was depression (it is not- my only depression is from being sick for so long while taking care of two young children one of whom was recently diagnosed with step and Moraxella).  Was referred to a pulmonoligist who said my breathing, chest sound fine but was worried about crhonic sinusitis- did a CT scan and said no sinus issues.  Went back to internist with all above symptoms plus ear pain and swollen lymph nodes- he did more extensive blood work.  They came back with extremely high IGG and high IGM and positive for Ebstein Barr Virus.  I am still coughing up and blowing out mucous which is now yellow to green.  Called internist and he put me on a Z pack and Predisone yesterday.  Feeling as bad or worse today.  I would really appreciate any help as I'm confused about some of my symptoms and so ready to feel better.  Internist said maybe two more months before I feel better and the thought of that makes me so upset.  Thank you for any advice or help you can give!

Mould spores get airborne and as well as getting on the skin, will be breathed in and cause problems with the lungs.

If you do have any mould in the house, this needs to be cleaned off and the area treated.  You can buy proprietary mould treatments, white vinegar will also do the trick.

Moulds also are outside especially where there is decaying matter like leaves in the fall.  These like pollen can be breathed in and cause allergic reactions.

The main problem are the moulds inside the dwelling place.  Make sure that the rooms are well ventilated and dry any moisture away.  This is a good preventative measure.

I am very interested in what you experienced with regards to the toxic mold exposure.  I believe I am having problems with mold, but can not get anyone to take me seriously.  I don't have insurance and am trying to solve this issue myself.
One of the most overwhelming problems for me is that I can almost "see" and "feel" this mold when i am near it.  I mean actually feel it - like its a prickling on my skin.  Its quite creepy.  There's so much more; i could go on and on.  But I won't right now.
Please respond if you can.  Mold is such a under addressed topic.  I don't think people understand the damage it causes.  Please let me know how it was for you.  ***@****

As I was cleaning the bathroom right now  I was thinking about how many people don't clean under the plug in the sink... because it's attached!  I took mine apart and found lots of ugly, black mold in there. - Mold does cause all kinds of havoc on the body.... I believe in natural supplements to help so i suggest you get some Black Elderberry and start taking it immediately.  It remedies colds, allergies and can even prevent the flu.  -  I hope you find what is making you sick and that you get some relief soon.

Just from the small amount of information you've provided, I suspect that what is happening to you is toxic mold exposure.
When I got sick last year, and no doctors knew what was wrong, I didn't even consider it was something in my environment. It turns out I was being poisoned by extreme toxic mold. I know it sounds bizarre, but it is reality. It can have devastating effects on your life and health. You need to consider this as a possible cause and work toward a solution. Main stream doctors are not going to be able to diagnose this or treat it. If it is in fact toxic mold, you need to get out of the environment immediately.

As you probably already know there is no cure for Ebstein Barr Virus.  Even most healthy people can carry the virus.

You have been on the Z pack to get rid of any secondary infection (ears, glands, chest).  The Predisone is a corticosteroid drug.

Unfortunately, it will take time to subside like you have been told.
Take things easy (easier said than done I know with children) and drink plenty of fluids.

If you do get any new symptoms do not hesitate to get back to your doctor.

Wishing you a speedy recover.
