Rib/Abdomen Abnormality

Early 2020 I found a lump near my ribcage around where my kidney would be. I had blood work, XRay and a CT scan done with everything coming back normal.  The lump seems to be painless and even when I press on it there is no real pain.  However my anxiety has gotten the better of me and it is causing me to worry and frustration with my family.  Just wondering if anyone has had something similar, what it could be and how you coped/took care of yourself.

Hello! Did your doctor discuss your radiological findings with you? The CT scan would have shown the mass and recommended further imaging if there was a concern. This could be a lipoma. I would encourage you to discuss this with your healthcare provider to clinically correlate your imaging with the palpable lump.

Thanks for checking in! A lot of my own findings brought up lipoma.  My GD sent me a follow up note of no findings or abnormalities to the ribs, kidneys or surrounding area. I think this is what has me on edge. That there wasn't a clear answer. But I need to stop worrying.
