Scared

I am 42 year old female, I have missed 4 periods and over the last month have been having a bloated lower abdominal. I feel full all the time and only feel worse when I eat. Cycles have always been normal had tubes tied 12 years ago. Never had any bowel issues before. Don't know what to do or what it could be. Talked to gyn and had ultrasound just waiting for results. Please help

There is nothing you can do at the present time, but to wait for the results.

Being at the age you are, it is not uncommon to start on the change of life.
You have done the right thing to see your Gyn.

If all is well with the womb etc., make an appointment to see your doctor.
Keep a written record of what you are eating to see if there is any particular food that is causing the bloating and making you feeling unwell.  You may have become intolerant to some foods, or may have a stomach and/or bowel problem.

Keep off fried and highly spiced foods, cut out the white bread for now and cut out the fizzy drinks.  Keep off the junk foods, cakes, biscuits and processed foods.  Make sure that you drink plenty of fluids and especially water so that you do not become dehydrated.
