Been to the doctors today after having a cold / flu symptoms for 2 weeks now and feel pretty rough and tired, She checked my ears which are red and a bit waxy but the facial pain is really uncomfortable and i have a gunky nose, i haven t got an infefction and no temperature. Worse thing is i am going in hospital week tomorrow for day surgery hystereoscopy and may have the coil fitted. Do you think i will be ok?
well it sounds like you have the common cold...I would let your doc doing the surgery know your symptoms,...in the mean time drink lots of water and get plenty of rest...and eat well so that your body can have the energy to fight off what ever is going on in there....my whole family has been dealing with this type of cold since oct !! it just keeps coming back! very frustrating. But ya just let your doc know and make sure there isnt anything else you should do before surgery
