Leg pain

So i every now and then get really bad leg pains, usually in only one of my legs, very rarely both. It varies and can be from my toes to my calf, up my thighs or my whole leg, sometimes its around my knee, sometimes around my ankle, it can basically be just anywhere on my leg. It feels like a strong dull aching in my bones almost. Sometimes i wake up with it, sometimes it comes during the day, it doesn't seem to be connected to any kind of physical activity. Theres no swelling , warmth or redness when it happens. I've been to a doctor about it but they werent much help, i got stretching exercises  (that didn't help), then I was told that they couldnt do anything. Im often told its growing pains, but i am almost 18 and haven't grown an inch since i was 13 (i measure myself frequently). Does anybody have any suggestions as to what this could be??

I'm not sure I believe growing pains are a thing ...is it in the same leg you have the trouble or does it alternate? When you say you feel weak and sick when you stand for too long I would advise you to go back to the doctor ...get some bloods done ...have you had an xray? Or scan? There is so much more they can do ...good luck xxx

It sounds to me like you may have some misplaced vertebrae in your lower back, this, can certainly cause the symptoms you are having. I suggest seeing a chiropractor. He/she will take x-rays of the lower back, study them and then go over the results with you, after a few treatments, you should start to feel better in that area.

Thank you for the answer! Is that possible if i dont have any back pain or any numbness or tingling? I read up a little bit about it and ive never experienced tingling or numbness, nor any pain in my back, only my legs. I do however feel very ill and weak if i stand for too long and get achey very quickly when walking, if that helps to confirm or deny anything? :)
