Small, unexplainable bump.

Hi, the last 1 or 2 weeks I've noticed that I have a small, unexplainable, zit-like bump on my penis.
Whenever I (accidentaly) touch it, it actually hurts a lot. This is quite a problem since me and my girlfriend are about to start having sex. Will this bump affect anything? Or will it just go away after a while? If so, howlong can it take(estimate). And finally, is this a symptom for any disease?

I was mistaken, i said a zit-like bump, but it's more or less like a mosquito bite, but it hurts really bad when bumped into, and it's not completely red, the area wich is sticking out is white-ish of color, then a bigger area wich is not sticking out as much but it does though.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,

Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be folliculitis, contact dermatitis, rash due to friction rubduring intercourse dermatitis(atopic, contact, allergic),excessive sweating causing sweat dermatitis, blocked sebaceous glands, folliculitis or balanitis(due to an underlying infection (bacterial and fungal as well as other organisms) .
You may try calamine lotion on the rash. You should also maintain hygiene and try to keep the area clean and dry, wear loose-fitting cotton clothing. Also use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics. You can also use a barrier cream with zinc oxide paste or calamine lotion or a mild steroid cream like dermacort on the rash. If the bumps are itchy, you  can take some antihistaminic like benadryl or Claritin.

If the lumps persist then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.Genital warts have to be ruled out.

Hope it helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.

Hey, thanks ;)
anyway, i don't think it'll be anything i could've had it because of intercourse or anything like it, since i never had any kind of intercourse(except for kissins that is), knowing that, i'll just take a nice shower, use the soap you described and i'll rub it in with some lotion, after done that today, i'll go ask my doctor about it so he can properly examine it.
Thanks ;)
