Something is wrong, but no one knows what!

I have had periods numbness, tingling, burning, dizziness and extreme fatigue.  The numbness started in my feet, then moved up my legs, then into my arms.  My left arm was worse and felt weak.  These symptoms came on gradually and were mostly gone in a few weeks, then came back months later with different places affected.  The last time I had severe eye pain when I moved it that went away in a few days. Now I have muscle aches in my left arm and leg with twitching. The muscles on that side are very tight. I've had all relevant tests (B12, Lyme, thyroid, etc.) and an MRI, which just showed a few mild bulging disks.  My neurological exam showed hyperreflexia, but I believe nothing else, although I was symptom free at the time.  Besides ms and fibromyalgia, what else could this be? Ms seems to be ruled out with the he MRI and Fibro doesn't quite fit in my opinion (I could be wrong). I'm afraid the next thing my doctor will say is see a shrink, but this is definitely not in my head. Any ideas would be great! Thanks!

Hello,
I highly recommend that you see a chiropractor, if you have misaligned vertebrae, you will have these types of symptoms and no drug will help. He/she will do an x-ray and be able to immediately pin-point the point of origin for your pains, etc.

Good luck.

My B12 was 813.  I've never taken a supplement. Vitamin D and the others were not tested. I can ask about those. Thanks!

You said you had a B12 test. But those are B12 symptoms.
Do you take B12 supplements?
Were you taking any B12 vitamins prior to your B12 test?

Did you also get:
Folate
HotoTC levels
MMA
Homocystein

B12 levels below 200 are extremely deficient and many doctors feel the actual level of deficiency should be at 400. Most people have levels between 800-1,000.

What about 25 OH Vitamin D blood test
Normal Lab Range 30-100ng/mL
But you need to be above 50ng/mL to be optimal.
Below can have symptoms.

Vitamin D3 and magnesium need to be taken together as supplements.
