Swallowing difficulties?

I have had extreme dysphagia (difficulty swallowing normal food along with constant feeling of a large lump in my throat) for 4 months now. This also causes me occasional ear and chest pain. I began with the gastroenterologist who completed a barium swallow and endoscopy, all they found was minor GERD. I then proceeded to the ENT who discovered I have base of tongue swelling on one side. They originally acted like this would definitely cause the symptoms I am having. Now that I had a CT scan of my neck along with a biopsy and we know the swelling is not cancerous, they now say they can't help me. I am at a complete loss, I can barely eat and have lost 20 pounds. I have a beautiful family and young children and really want to get back to being myself for them. There was an event that I believe set this whole thing off but not sure if the issue can be resolved. I don't feel I am being listened to. Any advice much appreciated. Thank you!

You should see a rheumatologist. Swelling usually indicates something off with your immune system if the swelling isn't in response to anything discernible. Could be autoimmune. For example, myasthenia gravis can cause dysphagia though usually that's not the first symptom and does not cause swelling.

Did anyone mention this might be psychological?  Anything traumatic happen?  At some point, if every doc find nothing wrong, you have to investigate what's left.

There is definite swelling in the area, but it is benign. I have pictures of it. Otherwise, yes, I have heard about globus sensation but don't believe that's the case here.
