Swollen Lymph nodes in stomache-chronic pain. Help!

About two years ago i was diagnosed with an ovulation problem called mittle schmertz. There is nothing you can do to help it, but it would cause sharp pain in the lower right side of my abdomen when i was ovulating. I was doing okay and then forgot about it until April, when i was having this pain so sharply that i could barely stand up. Thinking it was appendicitis, my mom took me to the emergency room where they took blood tests and did a cat scan on me. I didn't have appendicitis, but they found that the lymph nodes near my appendix were swollen. They sent me home and told me to check up with my doc. so when i did a few days later, she told me i have a virus that causes my lymph nodes to swell. All she did was give me Naproxen because it's an anti-infammitory. But i could only take that for about three days becase it was very hard on my stomache, as i am only 16 and weigh about 125 pounds. I never went  back to the doc but it still hasn't gone away. I have the sharp pain a lot, almost daily and mainly after i walk or excersice so i haven't exercised barely at all in months. I went to Mexico in July and got bad diarrhea afterwards and still get in occasionaly and am now finding white tissue looking mold on my stool. I'm scared to go to the doctor  because i've skipped my last period....can someone help me?! :( Any info is GREAT. Thank you.

So i went to my app. They said it could be two things going on at once. The intestine problems they think are irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel syndrome, a parasite, or at worst chrons disease. She's pretty sure there is something wrong with my colon.
As for the sharp pain, she thinks its either an ovarain cyst or a dermoid tumor. :(
So i have to do 8 stool tests, three on different days, and get those all tested. Then i have an ultra sound on wednesday morning to see about my ovaries.
Wish me luck! I'll stay posted.

Hello,

Lymph nodes swelling is a sign of infection or inflammation going on in the body.In your case,I feel two possibilities which need to be ruled out urgently is ectopic pregnanacy and ovarian cysts(polycystic ovarian disease). An ultrasound or CT abdomen will be a good diagnostic tool in diagnosing them.

Other possibilities may be diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease and cholecustitis.

For diagnosis,a clinical examination and investigations are required.Pls don’t hesitate as nothing is more valuable than your health. Both ectopic pregnanacy and ovarian cysts need to be treated as soon as diagnosed.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep us posted on how you are doing.
