Swollen Salivary Glands (Submandibular)

So it has been a week since I felt it grow. It was underneath my jaw and my chin (beside my throat). I did not feel any symptoms of having fever, sore throat, or any other side effect of feeling down. Recently, it reached its biggest size of 1 and a half inches? I had no trouble with swallowing or chewing although I feel it whenever I get up from bed and open my mouth wide, the sensation was uncomfortable and it was hard like every other lymph node when swollen but wasn't stiff to the point that it couldn't move so that was a relief for me. The only lead to this is probably because I have low oral hygiene so that was probably a wake up call. I started brushing my teeth more frequently and used mouthwashes. The day after, it decreased size by half. (Also this is in the left side, my right side also had been swollen but it wasn't as big as the one on the left). Right now, I don't feel any discomfort and its as if I don't have the lymph node swollen anymore due to the feeling but its still there. What should I do? Its been present for probably more or less a week and a half?
