Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Chronic eye static may be due to the electrical activity inside our eye. This produces an image of the vitreous and retina, sometimes white spots against black or vice versa and sometimes red hues too. This is normal. Rarely this is due to inflammation. However eye examination is a must. It can be a scotoma, but then that would be accompanied by very high BP, multiple sclerosis, tumors of the brain and other such causes, all of which will cause other symptoms too. Consult an eye specialist. Take care!
I know this from my long history...anytime you have visual changes, you need to be seen by am Opthamology MD and let them look IN your eye. Don't put it off.
