Terrible Hip Pain!!

Hi, I am an 18 year old female, and I was experiencing what I thought was just tense muscle pain in my lower back on May 27th. I realized it wasn't my back at all the next morning when I got out of the shower and found myself barely able to walk on my own with extreme pain in my left hip. I went to the hospital and they did tests from a urine sample to X-rays to an ultrasound and everything came back normal. It is now June 1st and I am still in immense pain which doesn't go away and only gets worse with each passing day.
Does anybody know what the problem with my hip might be?? If so please do share because I can't handle this pain anymore!!

Thanks,

Kristin

If you are active you might want to check your symptoms against FAI.  Hope you feel better soon.

See an orthopedic surgeon, who will do tests to find out if it is your back or hip.  Referred pain can make it hard to figure this out.  Physical therapy may set you to rights.
