The aftermath of a bike accident

Around two months ago I had quite a serious accident on my bike I collided with a wall and ended up with a separated ac jiont graded three and hit my head pretty hard but no damaged to the skull. The accident was roughly two months ago and it seems in the last week the collar bone has migrated a further half an inch upwards causing pain which had gone about 6 weeks after injury. Also for the last month on and off  on and off I have been having severe aching throughout my body making me restless and unavaliable to sleep. Also since the accident if i tilt my head backwards I feel dizzy like when the room spins with alcohol, when this first occurred early I put it down to the high amounts of codiene I was prescribed yet a month after being codiene free still there. The aching concerns me as my mum suffers from from fibromyalgia  but I believe my aching is due to the accident. Going to see my doc tomorrow but on this sleepless night could with knowing more.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
It could be fibromyalgia as this comes up after injury in people with a family history. However, since you have dizziness on tilting your head—two things should be ruled out—an ear problem, and a cervical spinal nerve compression.
It is quite possible that the nerve is compressed due to a slip disc or inter-vertebral injury. Compressed nerves can also cause aches and pains. Hence a neck MRI should be done.
Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!
