Tongue numb

I am a 62 y/o w/f. A few days ago I ate something hot. Later, I noticed that the tip of tongue was numb. I thought it would resolve itself but 4 days later, but 4 days later it remains numb (just the tip).  Also, I recently started taking liquid vitamins and monavie red. Blood pressure is under control with intake of lisinopril. If the cause was from eating hot food, how long will the symptoms persist. It does not hurt, just numb. Any thoughts?

What liquid vitamins and when did you start taking them?  I have had the numb tip of tongue, too.  It happened for days after having an iodine gum treatment at the dentist.
