Why do I keep feeling this throbbing pressure on my temples?

Hello to all,

I have been dealing with this strange Sensation on my face. It began as somewhat of a tingle on the left side of my face right next to my eye and since it has radiated to both sides of my head on my temples and just below my temples above and ahead of my ears. There hasn’t been any numbness or pain more of a pins and needles sensation. And now it feels like more of a throbbing pressure. There’s isn’t any pain just that constant throbbing pressure that feels like it’s more on the surface or outside muscles of the head/face not so much the brain. Right around the same time I started dealing with some gastrointestinal issues and pains and also developed lower back pain but I dont know if it’s associated.

Has anyone else ever dealt with this? Thanks.

Hi.  So. Do you have a regular doctor you can see?  Pins and needles sensations are almost always nerve related.  However, I get this when I get a migraine.  And vascular headaches can start that way as well.  They call what I get before a migraine an aura.  For some people it is like flashing lights.  To me, it is a little like that with little black spots and a tingly feeling.  But it if followed by the thunder (migraine).  There is also something called trigeminal neuralgia.  That's really mostly nerve related.  And you get it in different parts of your face.  Ocular would include the area you speak of.   Sinuses can cause this issue.  And vascular headaches need to be looked into.  Here is information on it https://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=5962  So, can you get into the doctor do you think?
