Yes, im 31 my name is jeremy, for about six months i have been off of work because of some unknown illness....My first symptoms were blurrying vision, sometimes blackouts....after that i starteed to become more weak as i worked and i would turn pallor or pale...then it started to involve chest pains and palpatations including flutter once in while....for a while i would stand up and my heart rate would jump up to about 120 to 130 not as bad now.....i have diarreha alot...very weak and hard to lift cause i can only do it so much before i feel fainty and dizzy...doctors have had different opinions, ranging from panic disorder to maybe potural orthestatic taryhcardia syndrome, first they thought just vertigo then things just progressed to different things,  i was getting alot of wrist pain, pains in just different parts of my body just so many symptoms that i just am lost what to do anymore...has anyone had any similar experience

Did they check your blood iron and ferritin levels? According to Mayo clinic's website, iron deficiency can cause: extreme fatigue, pale skin, weakness, dizziness or lightheadedness, and heart arrythmia amongst others...and wrong diagnosis website says iron deficiency can cause tachycardia, palpitation, neuralgic pain, and more.

I hope they have checked your electrolytes, including potassium and sodium, with all your diarrhea and lightheadedness and if you are having muscle cramps, to see if those levels are low.

Has anyone suggested any endocrine blood tests, such as a TSH level?  How about plasma free metanephrines (fasting) or 24 hour urinary metanephrine levels?

A lot of symptoms CAN come from anxiety and panic, including diarrhea, tachycardia, palpitations and lightheadedness if you hyperventilate.  But they should make sure there is not a medical cause of your physical symptoms before settling on that as the problem.

You might pursue getting a tilt table test to see if you have P.O.T.S. or N.C.S. or some other form of dysautonomia.  How about a brain MRI to make sure you don't have a tumor as well?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The symptoms could be due to inflammatory bowel conditions such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, Celiac disease (gluten intolerance), lactose intolerance or IBS or irritable bowel syndrome. Severe acidity with gastric reflux can also be a cause and so also worms in stool. Hiatal hernia is another possibility. Liver and gall bladder issues too should be looked at by a liver function test and ultrasounds. Endoscopy, gluten sensitivity test, etc may also be required.
The weakness could be the result of syncopal attacks due to these inflammatory conditions. Also nutritional deficiencies too could be the cause because of diarrhea.
If there is a history of unproteceted sex then HIV should be looked into. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Do consult your doctor and get a referral for a gastroenterologist and get a test for HIV.
Also a echo of heart should be done to rule out any heart pathology.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
