Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Since this developed overnight, it could be an allergic reaction to something you ate. Hence this should be ruled out by a doctor immediately. Go to the ER. Other than that if could be pharyngitis, OTC anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic will help along with warm saline garagle. If you also have burning in chest, it could also be due to gastric reflux.
If you cannot see an ENT now go to your PCP or ER immediately.  Take care!

You need to go to the ER right away did you eat anything like nuts orsomething you may be allergic to? It could also be strep I would call the Dr back and insist that you asee them right away. Even if you have to sit in the waiting room for awhile they will see you good luck

Go to your general practioner before you proceed to a specialist. But first and foremost, if you can't breathe, go to the ER.
