Warm feeling in throat and chest

Last week I suddenly had a warm feeling flow into my throat. The closest I can compare it is to the flush feeling you get when you have a CT scan and they inject the dye. Anyway, the feeling has persisted for 5 days now. Sometimes stronger, and including down into the middle of my chest while other times receding into the throat area. This is not painful. But it is intrusive. The intensity ranges from a 1 to maybe 4 1/2 on a 1-10 scale. I do have hypothyroidism. Could this be related?

Doesn't sound too alarming. But idk much about thyroid. It DOESN'T sound strep or other inflammation or drainage related type of irritation so yes if you have thyroid issues get that checked out

I am not a Doctor, however you might want to go get a blood test for your T-3, T-4 uptake for your thyroid. If you are taking any medicine like Levothyroxin to control your hormonal levels, it might need to be uppered in mcg or lowered by your pyhsician. I hope my suggestion helps. I hope you feel better. P.S. Run hot water in a sink, put a towel over your head and breathe in deeply the steam. Do this 3 times a day, your throat might feel better.

You are probably getting strep throat.
I have had the same, put water and salt and lemon in a cup and do gargles but DO NOT SWALLOW. Drink lots of water, once a day suck on a lemon. if none of that works GO TO A DOCTOR, its best to try all options before going to the doctor do all of the above for a whole 7 days.
