The only thing that has actually helped me was a recent round of strong antibiotics and steroids I took for a sever sinus infection. That helped for a couple of weeks, with me asking my daughter to confirm. I have a follow-up appointment with my physician to possibly have a scrape of the skin on my scalp to see if there is something growing there. There is a shampoo not being sole for dogs which contains a treatment for bacteria nd fungus which works on dogs. If I don't get any results with the doctor, I intend to examine what is in the dog shampoo. I can smell the odor from my scalp a few hours after I bathe and shampoo my hair. I have tried everything suggested, and more, with nothing working. I even showered and shampooed twice a day for a while, and that didn't help. My bedroom and pillow will smell terrible after I have slept overnight. I have also smelled this on other people. I hope something is found that takes care of this problem.
i never heard of this. It could be something you're ingesting, like a certain food or med that when you sweat it comes out of your poors. That's pretty normal for a lot of meds. otherwise, IDK
that is a very good tip also try to get the same body wash every time u buy one i know sometimes one is on sale but ur body gets used to certain stuff and if u change too often then u are bound to get weird smells. also ask him to smell out where it is coming from so u know where to start! because if u seek a dr then they will ask u what general area its coming from and its good to know!
It can be due to hygiene problem. Or because of your bad Eating habits. Or can be at times due to some skin problems.
try checking out these steps for remedies....
First of all have a balanced diet.
Have plenty of water.
Include turnip or its juice in your diet.
Take a shower using an antibacterial soap followed by a deodorant once in a day especially in the areas around the anus and the genitals.
When bathing, use a good brush in circular movement.
Use cotton clothes especially cotton undergarments, which lets the skin breathe. Avoid synthetic clothes.
Wear loose cloths instead of figure-hugging ones and change your cloths daily.
Washing areas under the armpits is a must as 80% of the body's sweat is present there.
If you're buying products to handle perspiration knowing their difference is a must. For example, antiperspirants stop the sweat from leaving the skin by blocking the pores while deodorants destroy the bacteria when sweat leaves the body.
Use a deodorant or anti-perspirant that contains aluminium chlorohydrate or zirconium.
Curb your coffee and tea intake. Caffeine can stimulate the autonomic nervous system, which regulates sweating. Limit yourself to two cups daily.
Avoid alcohol since it increases perspiration potential by dilating blood vessels.
you can also try this. Boil mint leaves and add the water to your bath water. Keep some aside for a special dousing for your armpits and between the thighs.
If none of the above work and or the scent of your perspiration becomes stronger or more intense. See your doctor.
Good luck.
