What could be causing these symptoms?

Hi. My brother has been ill for about 3 years now. He has been to a few doctors & no one seems to know what is wrong with him. He has a lot of symptoms. A list of some of them: breaking out in a rash, sensitivity to smells, becomes ill whenever he eats ( he only eats a couple of things such  as beef liver & bread), severe stomach pains, migrane headaches, bloating, depression, sensitivity to light & sound, etc.... He does have diabetes but it is fine & glucose is under control. Any idea what could be causing this? He was always very fit & healthy. Then out of nowhere he became ill with whatever this is. I'm very worried about him. Any help/advice, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hmm, it sounds like Leaky Gut Syndrome, which may have led or may lead in the future to The Gut and Psychology Syndrome and other serious conditions, if left untreated.
Please look it up as many of his symptoms are consistent with this condition.
These are rather complex conditions and conventional doctors do not recognize them, since pharmaceutical approaches cannot correct them, however they will be more than happy to prescribe symptom relieving meds.

Best wishes,
Niko

How old is your brother? There are a couple vascular vein compression conditions of the abdomin that will cause all of these problems. Doctors know very little about them so they often go undiagnosed. Some of the most common ones are May-Thurner Syndrome (which I have) and Nutcracker Syndrome or Wilkie Syndrome. These conditions often happen 2 or 3 at a time causing all kinda of problems throughout the body including headaches and migraines as well as dizziness. While not necessarily serious, they will cause some pretty unpleasant symptoms. With the symptoms you described I would get checked for Nutcracker and Wilkie Syndromes. What doctors don't understand is that most of the problems are actually caused by the collateral veins that fill with blood to get around these compression sites and back to the heart. When they fill up they create a web across the pelvis and abdomin pressing against and actually dislodgingorgans along the way. Feel free to private message me if you want more info or have any questions.
