Wheezing throat noise/sternum tightness and pops

I have been reading posts on sternum tihgtness, and the sensation of it needing to "pop" or at sometimes actually popping.  Also when I turn side to side, forced air that sounds like wheezing is coming out of my lungs and into my mouth.  It makes a stange wheezng noise.
I cough a lot in the morning, work in a kitchen and am convinced my body is invaded with parasites.

Any ideas?

Having asthma and a low lung function isn't always due to smoking.  There are all sorts of irritants in our environment that can cause problems gradually.

With regard to parasites, wash your hands thoroughly before handling food and eating it and always wash after using the toilet.  Ensure that meat products (you will be aware of this, I have no doubt, as you work in a kitchen) are thoroughly cooked and uncooked meat is stored away from any cooked meat so as to avoid contamination.

Wash your hands after preparing uncooked meat products before handling other foods and make sure that you have a clean chopping board and knife or use a different one for uncooked meat and a separate chopping board for vegetables.

Also ensure that wiping and drying cloths are regularly cleaned, as they harbour a lot of bacteria too.

Hope you get on OK.

Best wishes.

Thanks so much! I don't smoke and am a healthy 30 year old vegan, so the parasite thing makes sense inandthat I am healthy otherwise.
I also haven't been to a doctor in 3 years !

So it's time to go, and thanks for the advice.

You may have a chest infection or asthma.

It would be a good idea to see your doctor to examine your lungs and also to have a lung function test.

If you feel you have parasites, ask your doctor to check your blood and do a stool sample test.

Best wishes.
