Why am I able to dislocate the tendon behind my ankle at will?

For awhile I have been able to move the tendon behind my ankle in and out of place at will. As I had no complications with it, I never brought it to the attention of my doctor. However, lately I have been noticing a dull pain around the area when applying pressure to it or moving it out of place. I have no swelling nor bruising in the area.

I think it is time for you to go see a orthopedic surgeon. The tendon is to loose and sounds like it will need to be tightened.

I would stop messaging about with it?  Why did you start doing this in the first place?  Sounds like you have caused yourself an Achilles tendinitis by doing this .  Rest, ice, anti inflammatories and leave it be!!
