Wife fell and lit on elbow. Much pain

Do we need an X-ray?  Some swelling but can bend with pain.

No way to know.  If it improves quickly, that's good.  If a lot of swelling, that might indicate something broken.  Don't know how bad the fall was.  If rest, ice, elevation don't work, you'll need to see a doctor, but immediately?  Again, no way to know from afar.  In the era of covid we're all avoiding docs if we can, but it's the only way to get a diagnosis if you think you need one.
