Wildly Beating Heartbeat @ night

Has anyone ever woken up with a crazy, fast wild heartbeat that lasts about 5 - 10 minutes, and you feel the strong urge to urinate? This happened to me. While the increased heart rate was happening I felt the urge to urinate a few times within a 10 minute period. Then that stopped and I felt cold. When the heart rate returned to normal, my mouth felt dry and so I sipped some water. I'm going to try to go back to sleep because I'm exhausted, but this was weird and a bit frightening. Oh, I also burped a few times afterward, as though there was some indigestion involved, but then that stopped, too. Any ideas?? I am a 62 yr old female in decent health. I've suffered from idiopathic edema around my ankles for years and I'm about 60 lbs overweight (the water retention is reduced by weight loss, which I achieved once but am trying now again...have been trying to lose for years, but have always had a problem with it.) Also I'm on a Ventolin inhaler for allergies.

Appears to be classic anxiety to me or even an hiatal hernia. I have you seen any doctor about it?

The possibilities are endless.  It could be acid reflux, which will raise the heart rate. It could be anxiety or it could be a ad dream you can't remember.
