Would like to know the nature and cure for the following Lung Diagnosis!

Hi all, my dad recently went for a chest X-ray and came back with the following diagnosis. Would really appreciate if anyone can help to explain and also provide any treatment recommended.

1) Inactive calcified granuloma with fibrotic changes is seen in the right upper zone
2) Thickening of right pleura as well as theft apical pleura is noted
3) No active lung lesion are seen

Can any kind souls kindly tell me if the above diagnosis poses any danger? Thanks in advance!

You have already had a more expert answer, but I too have granulomas but it has been about sixty years since I was treated for tuberculosis.  Much later I also had very bad exposure to asbestos.  My lung capacity us adequate and despite damage I generally have good oxygen readings so don't worry about it since there isn't anything I know of at this point to do.  The psychlogical damage can be almost overwhelming when you have a cold or virus so it may be a help for him to get one of those portable oximeters to assure himself the lungs are putting enough oxygen into the blood stream.  (mine is about the size of a thick matchbox)  If he had TB that healed itself there may still be something that can be done to make sure it doesn't reoccur.  I think there is a test to check that out.

We would need clinical picture and history with x-ray results. Is your father well in himself? Does he smoke? Has he had chronic bronchitis or tuberculosis? . You know, stuff like that.
