awake but woke up from dream - head buzz

I was awake and I literally woke up from a dream. Like I snapped out of a trance that I was living for 18 years. I'm 19 now and becoming more in touch with reality but my mind always seems to wonder away from reality. Most of the time I won't know what i'm doing.

I always zone out and day dream, my thought patterns are always out of the norm or completely different than other people around me. Sometimes I feel stupid and retarded but I know it's not my true self expressing myself. I find it hard to express myself on point.  Ever since "waking up" i'm realizing more and more mistakes I made throughout my life.

My head often rushes and it feels like it's going at a million miles an hour which sometimes makes me uncontrollobly control my body.. especially when i'm around a lot of people. it's like my mind is so alert.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHATS GOING ON WITH THE DREAM AND OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT MIGHT MAKE SENSE?!?!?!

Your symptoms are too complex to answer from an internet site. You need to see a internist, psychiatrist or psychologist to evaluate your symptoms.

I was having a conversation with 2 of my friends and I don't think it was related to me or my life at all. Keep in mind when I socialize i'm mostly exploring my own thoughts rather than investing 100% of myself to any convo. It's very difficult for me to carry convos most of the time..sometimes it's the easiest thing.

But anyways I was just thinking about my past/current life a lot and just snapped out.

what caused you to suddenly "wake up" after living all 18 years of your life in a confused fog?
